This copper network card is used to allow data to pass between control panels and network nodes installed in a networked fire system.
The card must be plugged into the backplane of the panel or node in a dedicated slot.
When it is plugged into the slot P8 on the backplane the external cables must be connected to terminal block P10, which is also on the backplane.
The dual-in-line switches on the card are set to program the address number and baud rate.
The VIG-NC is a Network Card for Vigilon Analogue Addressable Fire Detection Systems, VIGPLUS-24 and VIGPLUS-72 Vigilon Panels (EN54).
It is used to expand the Gent Vigilon Plus and Gent Vigilon fire alarm network
The Vigilon panel manages up to 6 loops each accommodating up to 200 devices on each loop, including repeat panels, interfaces, call points, sensors and sounders.
The Vigilon panel is available with 24 and 72 hour standby options. Advanced networking options allow multi-domain networks of up to 200 panels/nodes with options of copper or fibre connections.
