4098-9733 TrueAlarm analog sensors offer an analog measure that can be digitally transmitted to the control panel of the host through Simplex adressable data communications. The control panel is where the information is analysed and an average value calculated and then saved. A signal or other unnatural circumstance is detected through comparing the sensor’s current value to its average and the time.
Simplex 4098-9733 Simplex 4098-9733 is a temperature sensor that self-restores. The Simplex 4098-9733 is also a rate compensated thermometer that is fixed and is able to be selected with or without rate-of-rise sensing. Due to its compact thermal mass it is able to quickly and accurately detects the temperature of the area for analysis on the control panel of your fire alarm. Temperature detection rate of rise is adjustable on the control panel to select the temperature to be either (8.3deg C) or 20deg F (11.1deg C) per minute. Temperature sensing fixed is independent of rate of rise sensing and is programmable for 135deg F (57.2deg C) or the temperature of 155deg F (68deg Celsius).
If a fire is developing slowly it is possible that the temperature will not be rising fast enough to trigger the rate-of-rise function. But an alarm will sound when the temperature has reached its fixed temperature rating. In addition, TrueAlarm heat sensors can be programmed as a utilitarian device to track temperature extremes ranging between 32 deg F between 155 and 32deg F (0deg C to 68deg Celsius). This feature is able to send freeze alerts or notifications to HVAC system malfunctions.
